Rental Terms
- The Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement will be for a year
(less one day) unless specifically agreed otherwise.
- Tenants will have the right to end the agreement after six
months.
- Short term tenancies of less than six months will not
normally be considered.
- A dilapidations deposit, equal to one month's rent, is
payable up front. It will be repaid after the end of the tenancy,
less any dilapidation charges, and after proof of payment of
final utility bills.
- The tenant is responsible for electricity, gas (if provided),
water, telephone, TV licence and council tax charges. Meter
readings will be taken at the beginning and end of the tenancy to
ensure accuracy of charges.
- A full inventory and statement of condition will be prepared
when you move in and checked again when you move out.
- The flat is for residential use only and no business
activities may be carried out from it.
- Prospective tenants must provide a previous landlord's
reference, an employer's reference and undergo credit
checking.
- Department of Social Security tenancies are not
acceptable.
